The Medical Assisting Program aims to provide the graduates with the skills and the knowledge for a career as an entry-level medical assistant in the medical office. The students will learn the skills to run the computerized patient billing and medical front office management. The students will receive instructions in the back office portion inclusive of examination room, clinical and pharmacology laboratory procedures.
The Medical Assisting Program intends to equip the graduate with the skills and knowledge necessary for an entry-level position. Job titles that graduates may hold but not limited to are Front Office Medical Assistant, Back Office Medical Assistant, Medical Lab Technician, Clinical Technician, Medical Insurance Biller, Medical Records Clerk, Medical Receptionist or Medical Secretary.
